Student Feedback Award and Tutor Spotlight

Student Feedback Award

Congratulations to Madhumathi Raman for earning the Outstanding Student Feedback Award! This award is given to tutors who receive consistent, outstanding written feedback from students over several weeks along with demonstrating excellent overall performance.

Some of Madhumathi’s exceptional student feedback comments include:

  • “She took her time with me. I would love to have her again. She made sure that I understood both ways that the problem had. She gave me examples and she explained to me.”
  • “She’s amazing and patient but best part of interactions are how she always ends it with have a fabulous night/day. Honestly so nice of her to do that”
  • “Thank you so much for your help! I liked that you asked me the after lesson help questions differently from the regular format and even offering an extension explanation. The concepts are much clearer to me now. Your patience and thorough explanations were great, hope to work with you again :)”
  • “Thank you Ms. Raman! I really appreciate you and how you let me figure out most of the work without making me feel lost.”

Way to go Madhumathi

Tutor Spotlight

Congratulations to our tutor spotlight: Bryan Rock! We were able to share this session with the whole team on Wednesday.

The student didn’t know how to check their problem and Bryan looked up a cool way to check differential equations!

After Bryan shared that he had just found this way to check, the student said, “Yeah! It does work nicely! Let me try to check it with my next one”

The way in which Bryan went above and beyond for this session was clearly appreciated in the student’s reflection on what he learned, “I think for the diffeq, using desmos to check is very helpful. I didn’t realize those slope fields on desmos can do that” and before he left the session, “Thank you for being so great! Cya”

In two weeks, we will pick our next tutor spotlight. Please fill out the Tutor Spotlight Nomination form so we can continue to celebrate the amazing interactions you have with students! Reminder that there is a $25 reward for being featured!
