PAUSED SESSION BUG
Some of you may have noticed a new bug surrounding the “Session Paused” messages that let us know when a student has run out of minutes. A number of our users have found a loophole that allows them to continue with a session despite running out of minutes.
If this happens during one of your sessions, please continue teaching as normal. We are aware of the loophole, but have not prioritized fixing the issue just yet as there are a limited number of users who are aware of it.
REPORTING USERS
As our session numbers increase, we expect to continue seeing a rise in inappropriate users and spam sessions. You all have been doing a great job reporting users who break Yup policy via HipChat!
Going forward, we ask that you only report users who are being inappropriate. This includes using bad language, being abusive or sending crude images. Narrowing down the number of reported users we receive to just the severe cases will allow us to more efficiently block students who are acting out of line.
