When asked to describe Yup she said “Yup Boosts Confidence!” and explained how her math teachers have not pushed her as much as Yup tutors push her in a positive way. Her confidence in math and school has grown overall, and because of Yup she is not afraid to ask for help anymore and has really grown as a person.
Tutor Spotlight
Congratulations to our tutor spotlight: Prabhat Kumar Kushwaha! We were able to share this session with the whole team on Wednesday.
In the session, the student initially started the problem incorrectly, by not fully understanding the goal of the problem.
Prabhat corrected the misconception helper her summarize her revised understanding. At this point, the student said, ‘This is my second time using yup (‘: I really like this!” Then, after discussing how to check the answer, the student said, “A great site and I highly recommend it for other students as well. I’ll definitely let my other classmates know about it. :D”
