Reminder to Set-up Veem, Scheduling Update, Inappropriate Student Behavior, and Reminders

Hi, everyone,

We hope you had a wonderful week!

Reviewing sessions this week, we saw a tremendous amount of productive struggle. We appreciate the work that you do to engage students who do not necessarily know how to best receive the support that they need. Your patience and kindness are profound and truly important in building procedural confidence in our young learners. Thank you for all that you do! Please read through the remainder of this post for some helpful information and updates.

Reminder to Set Up Your Veem Account

If you have not already done so, please be sure to complete your Veem account setup. You must complete your account setup by Friday, March 24 to ensure prompt payment in April for work completed in March. If you have Veem-specific questions, please reach out to support@prenda.co or to Veem’s excellent customer support team.

Scheduling

Thank you for your feedback on the shift length scheduling change. Based on tutor input, we decided to change our standard shift length to 2 hours. There are a few 1-hour blocks remaining on the schedule. We will monitor how this change impacts all of our functional systems. Thanks again for your feedback!

Inappropriate Student Behavior

When working with young learners, situations arise where the student makes a poor choice and behaves inappropriately. Working in partnership with parents and teachers, we like to let them know about the behavior. If a student repeatedly inappropriately uses the Yup learning tool, they will have their account suspended and potentially blocked.

We rely on you to let us know about these situations. Please complete this form whenever you encounter inappropriate student behavior. A link to this form will permanently live on the right-hand side of the Newsfeed posts.
Thank you so much for completing the form and working to ensure that all sessions are productive!

Metrics that Matter

We will now be posted the averages for the Metrics that Matter for each TGP level in our newsfeed posts. Hopefully, this will give you real-time context to understand your individual performance.
