Post-Session Comments, New Resources, and September Outstanding Student Feedback Winner

Post-Session Comments

A few of you have asked for the slides that were in the How to Write Comments training. Thank you so much for your interest! Here they are for your reference.

New Resources

We are excited to announce our Comprehensive UPSCR Guide is here! This resource is packed with examples of how you can get a “Yes”, “No”, or “N/A” for each question in our rubric. We also have our How to Engage All Students training series. We have one on younger students and another on students below grade level. Please check these out!

Student Feedback

Congratulations to Helen Herring for earning the Outstanding Student Feedback Award! This award is given to tutors who receive consistent, outstanding written feedback from students over several weeks along with demonstrating excellent overall performance.

Some of Helen’s exceptional student feedback comments include:

  • “Thanks for helping me with my work I really appreciate it because my teacher doesn’t explain how you explained it”
  • “Honestly one of the best tutors I have ever worked with. I really appreciate her. Thank you so much. Please pair me with her again”
  • “Thanks again for your help. I was worried about multiplying fractions and denominators because they never fully made sense to me but now they do thanks so much!”
  • “Thank you for helping me! It was nice feeling like I was solving it rather than being given the answers. I really enjoyed this session!”

Way to go Helen!
